(Alva's First Homicide - 9 November 1910)

Jurors Verdict

On the 12th day of September 1911, a Verdict was filed in the District Court of Woodward County, Oklahoma, which said Verdict is in words and figures as follows, to-wit:

The State of Oklahoma, Plaintiff
vs. - Case No. 714. Verdict.
N. L. Miller, defendant

We, the jury duly empanelled and sworn to try the issues in the above entitled cause, do upon our oaths, find the defendant guilty and charged in the information and assess his punishment at Life Imprisonment at Hard Labor.
