Mildred Anne reynoldsMildred Ann Newlin Reynolds - born December 25, 1933, Lamber, Oklahoma; died 13 March 1956, 1:40p.m. on Old Avard Road, Woods County, Oklahoma. 5 ft. 2 inches, 100lb., brown hair, rather shy, good student, Northwestern State College Senior. Nice looking, petite young lady. Married for 9 months to R. D. "Dee" Reynolds. Death Certificate

 

Dee Reynokds - 1054-55 Avard, School - OklahomaR. D. "Dee" Reynolds -- son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Reynolds, Freedom, Oklahoma. Basketball coach and teacher at Avard High School. NSC graduate student, 26 years of age at time of his wife's death. After wife's death he moved away and remarry and lived in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Deceased now.

Marie Schroder -- Mother of Mildred Anne Newlin Reynolds

Eddie Newlin -- Brother to Mildred Ann Newlin Reynolds.

I. R. Boyce -- county Coroner (or acting coroner

Jim HucklebeeJim Hucklebee -- 18 years of age, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds. Living with them and going to NSC. One of the last ones to see Mildred alive in Alva around noon. Usually rode home with Mildred, but did not on that day.

 

 

 

Ivan Gates -- State Crime Bureau agent of Oklahoma.

Loren Goucher -- Farmer in Avard area. Driving tractor few miles from crime scene and saw something burning -- notified sheriff. Also on six-men coroner's jury.

Sid Wilson -- State Crime Bureau Agent

H . D. Potts -- Woods County Attorney

Dr. A. Max Shideler -- Performed autopsy - OKC Pathologist - Assistant Prof. Pathology of University of Oklahoma.

Rev. Bob Fosburg -- married Ann and Dee Reynolds in Spring of 1955. Officiated at Ann Reynolds funeral March, 1956, Cherokee, Oklahoma.

Taylor Rogers -- State Chemist, Oklahoma City

Jim Sullivan -- Arson Expert, National Auto Theft Bureau

O. K. Bevins -- State Crime Bureau Chief

Leroy Lancaster -- farmer who sighted fire. Also on the six men coroner's jury

Atlee Delaney -- Employee of Alva Review-Courier, aided in taking pictures of crime scene. Also on the six men coroner's jury.

Kyle Morehead -- Deputy Assistant State Fire Marshall

G. R. Brown - State Highway Trooper
