Pioneer Of Coyle Dead
Rites Set

Clarence F. Wandell, 78, pioneer county newspaperman, died at his home
in Coyle Monday night.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Methodist Church at Coyle.
Rev. D.B. Horton of Woodward will officiate, assisted by Rev. Jerry Tyson,
and burial will be in the Coyle Cemetery under direction of the Davis Funeral
Home.
Wandell published The Cimarron Valley Clipper from 1907 until his retirement
in 1943.
He is survived by his wife, Grace E., of the home; two daughters, Mrs.
Doris Parrish, Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Lois Whittington, Whittier, Calif.;
one son, C.F. Wandell, Jr., Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, and 13 great
grandchildren. One son preceded him in death.
