Virginia - Gerald McLaughlin shares the following pdf files and images with us this week. Gerald says, "I picked up the first document at Leyburn Library (W&LU). He authored this book: . He was instrumental in renaming WL&U (Washington & Lee University) after Robert E. Lee. It was first Augusta Academy, then Liberty Hall, then Washington Academy, then Washington College and finally Washington and Lee University. I just donated a book authored by Geo. Washington and William Jackson to W&LU. Considering it was endowed by the first President and then renamed after the man that married his step granddaughter, I could think of no better place for the book." Women Suffrage Movement
