Ivan Painton - Orion, OK

"My mother was an amateur artist living in Longdale, Oklahoma during the 1980's and took painting lessons from Ivan. I remember visiting his gallery one time and he was quite a character. Someone told me he is in a Whos Who book of Artists, whatever that is. I remember him showing me a portrait he had painted of an Indian chief and he told me he had turned down $20,000 for it.
