Iron Horse Bicycle Classic & Cruiser Criterium

Celebrating its 39th year, the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic riders (1430) began their 50 miles, two mountain climbs Saturday, March 29, 2010, from Durango to Silverton, Colorado, ascending Molas and Coal Bank Passes. They try to beat the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad train to Silverton. It is synonymous with Memorial Day weekend in Durango, Colorado. Some have been reported as saying, "It's a celebration of cycling and of the San Juan Mountains."
