Yesterday's ball game was enough to give the average baseball fiend a severe attack of appoplexy. Austin lost the game and then won it in the last of the eighth inning the last time up to bat, in which Pitcher Hutter collapsed, and Weber, the third sacker, was placed in conspicuousness. Eight clouts were squirted into their systems in this inning with a grand total of eleven, and Austin is once more the second best team in the League. McGill, the "cross fire" pitcher, was twirling yesterday and he showed the opposing pitcher up at all stages of the game.
