Dr. C. M. Pierce
State Health Commissioner
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
My dear Doctor,
Mr. Gene McGill of Alva has an application filed with you for a
position in your department. I believe that it has to do with some
sort of technical work. You will recall that I talked to you about
it at one time and you advised me that you thought you could take
care of him after the first of July. he was in my office the other
day and wants to go to work pretty bad.
You understand, Doctor, that I have refrained from bothering you
on matters of this kind, and if you will check the records you will
find that I have no patronage whatsoever in your office.
I am quite sure you would find Mr. McGill highly efficient and
would reflect credit to your already splendid organization. Consequently,
I unhesitatingly recommend and urge the appointment of this young
man.
Sincerely yours,
Charles Albright
