Signora Bell Gwin, daughter of Sam and Ellen Gwin, was born near Monterey, Virginia.

In Harpers Ferry, W. Virginia, January 16, 1882, she was united in marriage to John Robert Warwick. John and Signora made their home in Virginia until the Spring of 1894, when the family settled on a homestead seven miles south of Alva, in Oklahoma Territory.

In the spring of 1929 they moved to Alva where they since resided untill death. Signora's Obituary, November 23, 1934.

Signora's life was a living example of the golden rule -- a sweet smile and kind word for all who crossed her path through life.
